Osmunda cinnamomea
Cinnamon Fern
Add some texture and height to a fern garden! The cinnamon fern gets its name from the cinnamon-colored fertile fronds. These fronds are the reproductive structures and stand encircled by the green leafy sterile fronds, which can grow to four or even five feet in height. The sterile fronds are yellow-green through the summer and turn yellow in the fall.
